A Transformational Shift in the House of Representatives

By now you all know of the 20 stalwarts who, like David facing down Goliath with faith and his river rocks, faced off the DC Cartel. Establishment sellouts joined the liberal alarmists disguised as news anchor as they terrorized listeners with threats of “a Democrat” winning the Speakership or “someone worse than McCarthy.” Of note: they couldn’t name anyone worse than McCarthy.

Fear. Just fear. Once you see it, you realize these goons are like a one-trick pony. Their only tactic to control you is fear of the what if. I hope you didn’t fall for it, and I’m grateful the 20 didn’t.

But what was actually happening during those painfully long roll calls? Well, it turns out, that “civil war in miniature” was a strategic move to get “transformational changes” in the house … and it worked.

Over the past several decades, our representation has eroded in the house. Instead of equal weight given to all 435 Representatives, power had been given to roughly 9 Committee Chairs who would determine how bills were written and what bills made it to the floor. Those 9 controlled all policy. What’s worse, debate had been removed from the floor. Representatives were allowed to vote only yes or no. If that doesn’t sound bad enough, bills contained multiple decisions. For example, money for Ukraine and funding for the January 6 committee. There was no option for a Representative who wanted to vote for one but not the other. Bills came to the floor packaged and Reps could vote only up or down.

If that sounds crazy, it’s because it is. And so some of the members of the House decided to fight it.

I’m proud to say Citizens for Renewing America helped them craft their strategy and terms. From Real Clear Politics: Most established conservative entities, such as the Heritage Foundation, kept their distance as the leadership fight played out. Others, like the conservative editorial board of the Wall Street Journal, were openly hostile. Even Trump lined up against the holdouts, endorsing McCarthy and urging squabbling Republicans, “DO NOT TURN A GREAT TRIUMPH INTO A GIANT & EMBARRASSING DEFEAT.”

Vought’s group was one of the few who welcomed the GOP civil war in miniature on the House floor.

The Center for Renewing America joined an expanding constellation of conservative splinter groups in 2021 after the end of the Trump administration. Alumni of the Trump White House and veterans of the Tea Party movement, they became early apostles of rebellion.

Because of their fight, we’ve had massive changes in the House. The Federalist details a few All of this is great news! Learn more so you can share this with friends.

What's Brewing . . .

World Economic Forum

  • Pray & Prepare: The World Economic Forum is holding it’s annual conference in Davos, Switzerland this week. If you don’t know anything about WEF or their goals, this is a super, super simple snapshot of how they envision the future and of how they’ll use nonprofits and private business to get us there. If you already know all this, share this link with a friend.
  • Read & RepeatAn excellent tutorial on “green energy” from a 40-year mining veteran.
  • Listen & Laugh: Enjoy a bit of levity and gather some excellent points for future conversations as you listen to Konstantin Kisin’s speech at the Oxford Union. He spoke during the debate titled, “This House Believes Woke Culture Has Gone Too Far.”
  • Take Action: You can read examples of states, Republican Clubs, and Counties who have put out resolutions taking a stand AGAINST the globalists. Read it .. and then contact your Reps and leaders and ask them to do the same

Gas Stoves

  • The “US Product Safety Commission” has threatened to ban gas stoves. This is yet another excellent example of why Federal Agencies need to be dismantled so we can end the Regulatory Tyranny of the State. They’re claiming we need their protection, because of a link between gas stoves and childhood asthma. This has no basis in science, of course, but what do they care. Also, they’re already claiming they never said they would ban gas stoves and if they did say it, they didn’t mean it. Don’t them the “gaslight” you–ha!  Read it before they take it down.
  • The Nonprofit Shell Game Our treasonous officials are surrendering American sovereignty to the globalists, and their bureaucratic minions continue to astound us with new and asinine ways to exert control over us. Where on earth would the idea of outlawing gas stoves really come from? Well, the globalists, of course, through the nonprofits. This nonprofit is the designated benefactor of the grant money used to “research” and “report” their findings.

DeSantis & New College of Florida

  • Governor DeSantis is doing a great job raising awareness about the globalist agenda, ESG, and the Woke culture in our schools. His most recent move has sent the right kind of ripples through Academia. He removed trustees from the Board at New College of Florida and in their place appointed a rockstar slate. The best news is this is all happening in our back yard, so we anticipate that trickle-down effect will impact our local public schools! YAY!

Events & Commissioners

  • Michael Sabga of the John Birch Society is speaking at the Manatee Patriots Meeting Tuesday, January 17 at 6p (Mixon’s Farms)

“Michael Sabga, Regional Director for the John Birch Society, will present an update on Agenda 2030. He promises to share the current activities here in Florida to combat the insidious UN plot to dictate how we live using innocuous terms like “Attainable Housing” and “Sustainable Development.” You won’t want to miss this powerful presentation.

What you may not know is that in January of 2019, Manatee County joined a Nongovernmental Organization (NGO) called “Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI)”. This NGO actually plays a key role in promoting and implementing the United Nation’s “Agenda 2030.” So it’s crucial for all Republicans and Conservatives to understand what’s happening in the County.

  • Commissioner Ballard Understands Commissioner Amanda Ballard (AKA Ballard the Bold) called out Manatee County for making a pact with the globalists at the UN. Listen as she speaks out against it publicly. Please email her and thank her for showing courage to bring this up.
  • Attend these public meetings so you can start asking County Commissioners questions without the restrictions of a County meeting (Thanks to LWV for the info. I don’t like their politics, but they do a good job summarizing meetings and advertising events.)

Republican Party

The Republican Party has taken some beatings in the past several months. From their milquetoast response to stolen elections, to outright crossing the aisle to transform elections, to over a dozen Republicans in the Senate ramming the Omnibus bill through, Republicans are having a hard time differentiating themselves from radical Democrats. Anyone being honest understands we’re dealing with a Uniparty–and that’s not hyperbole.

Nonetheless, though many of the people in the party have lost their way, the principles of the Republican Party still align with liberty. For that reason grassroots America First Republicans continue to work within the Party in hopes of purging the delinquents who have sold their souls. To that end, they have pressured Joe Gruters, the Chair of the Republican Party of Florida, to call county Chairs and the county Committee men and women to a meeting. At the meeting, the county Chairs and committee people will cast of vote for who they would like to see as the next National Republican Party Chair. It’s between Ronna McDaniel, the deeply entrenched current Chair (and you’ve seen where that’s gotten us), Mike Lindell, and Harmeet Dhillon. This vote will not choose the next Chair. It’s simply to let those who are casting the vote at the national level know where Florida REC committee members stand.

The vote takes place this Friday, January 20th, at 8:30a. A grassroots rally is scheduled to let Chairs know many committee members from around the State do not want Ronna McDaniel to continue as RNC Chair. Get details here so you can attend.
