Books Requested To Be Removed From
Manatee School Libraries
Below are inappropriate books, they also do not adhere to state laws. We are contesting these titles and are asking the district to remove them from the Manatee County school libraries. Florida State Department of Education per Governor DeSantis, has requested all books that have been removed any Florida school libraries must be submitted to the DOE.
Here is the State wide list of all books removed. This is the list that we are painstakingly going through one by one to see if there are any of these in Manatee school libraries. The ones listed above are on this list.
