Who Knew??
Pornographic Books are now of Literary Value
Who Knew??
As we were all living our lives, providing for our families, doing our daily civic duties, and enjoying the fruits of our labors, pornography was slipping into our schools. Once parents became aware, they stood up in armies to stop it. Banding together, parents researched bookshelves, classrooms, and assignments to find where graphic and sexual content was being trafficked to kids. One by one, each piece of erotic, adult-themed material showed up. Parents tackled each thing they found, hoping to sanitize and disinfect the “literature” in the schools.
That’s what the “experts” told us to do with a viral outbreak, right? Sanitize and disinfect. Well, we’ve come to find out there are different strengths of these sanitizers, and those in charge of distributing it at the schools seem to be choosing the least effective solution.
The Path to Health
If there is a cancer in the body, isn’t the protocol to attack it with a “known” agent that will destroy the disease using the strongest treatment possible? What would the use be for a weaker alternative? Is that really a viable alternative? When you play whack a mole with a cancerous ever-growing disease, it spreads.
As parents produced proof of this disease in our schools, the cancerous rot peddled as literature, the administrators balked. “We don’t want it,” they said. “This content is pornographic!” they said. “Kids shouldn’t be reading,” they said.
But instead of getting to the root of the porn problem and purging the premises of this cancerous material, known to short-circuit a child’s development, Manatee County School Administrators have decided to use a weak solution. They’re going to spritz disinfectant on the problem instead of scheduling surgery to remove a tumor. They’ve decided they need more time to “analyze” the organism. Instead of ripping out the harmful, diseased areas, they want to let that languish as they evaluate how to save bits and pieces of the tumor. Because, even though parts of it are definitely, absolutely, without-a-doubt wildly inappropriate, it’s possible, claims these arbitrators of academics, when the filthy, erotic, abusive scenes are read within the context of the “whole book,” we will not only find redemption, but even literary value. Wait let me pinch myself…Is this an episode of the twilight zone? These books contain vivid descriptions of violent incestuous rape and they are peddled to minors. Saying these books have “literary value” sounds very much like lipstick on a pig to me.
These are the “experts” who you’re supposed to listen to. They’re trying to tell you what’s good for you and your kids.
Hold on, I’m getting dejavu … Where have you seen this play out before??
When there was a health crisis, many people “trusted the experts” and “followed the science.” But the expert$ didn’t follow the science.
And they aren’t following it now.
Just as the last pandemic was a wake-up call to parents, so too is this one. And the answer is the same also. We don’t need to LOOK for a solution. We ARE the solution!! WE must “BECOME” the most powerful, potent antibody that stops this virus from spreading. Because, the way the “experts” are handling the porn issue is the same way they handled the other pandemic. They are CREATING it.
And this one is a pandemic of ultimate Biblical Proportions.
Studies show:
- “pornography causes stress and increases the risk for developing negative attitudes about the nature and purpose of human sexuality. For adolescents who view pornography, their attitudes toward their own and others’ sexuality change, and their sexual expectations and behavior are shaped accordingly. Porn disorients teenagers during that developmental phase when they have to learn how to handle their sexuality and when they are most vulnerable to uncertainty about their sexual beliefs and moral values.
- A significant relationship also exists between frequent pornography use and feelings of loneliness, including major depression. It effects the mind, body, soul, desensitizes, habituation, boredom, distorted perception of reality, aggression and abuse.
- Correlated to the so-called “hook-up” culture, exposure to pornographic sexual content can be a significant factor in teenage pregnancy.
